Community workers, young people and retirees – there’s something for everyone at ADNSW information sessions.

Assistant Community Engagement Officer, Claire Williams, has been busy during the month of June facilitating information sessions for a range of community groups.

On 16 June, Claire facilitated an online information session for the Inner West Children and Families Interagency (IWCFI). The event was attended by community workers from agencies that provide services to families and children aged 0 to 12 years old in the wider inner west areas of Sydney.

On 20 June, Claire was invited to attend Pennant Hills Probus' monthly meeting as a guest speaker. This jam-packed session was attended by 66 retirees who were very interested in discussing age and disability discrimination.

On 21 June, Claire facilitated another online information session for the Inner West Youth Alliance. The community workers who attended this event showed great interest in ADNSW’s youth workshops and were keen to see how ADNSW could participate in community stalls.

On 22 June, Claire attended an event by Carers Gateway to hear about their support services and listen to some interesting stories about Carers’ experiences. She was also able to network with their Youth Engagement team at the event to see how they can work together in the future.
