ADNSW is part of the Australian Council of Human Rights Authorities (ACHRA), which comprises the state, territory and federal human rights and discrimination authorities. We have joined forces for the Human Rights Conference and are sharing a stand and activation space.
Those attending the conference from 1 – 3 March can visit the ACHRA stand to learn more about the bodies across Australia who defend human rights and work to eliminate discrimination.
Here are some fun photos from day one of the conference.
The night before the conference kicked off, ADNSW also attended a reception to welcome international and local dignitaries to the Sydney WorldPride Human Rights Conference. The reception was hosted by the Australian Human Rights Commission on behalf of ACHRA.
So many inspiring and passionate people were in attendance!
Attendees were privileged to hear an address from European Union Commissioner for Equality Helena Dalli and another from United Nations Independent Expert on Sexual Orientation and Gender Victor Madrigal-Borloz.
