ADNSW launches multilingual brochure at Refugee Week afternoon tea

On Wednesday 21 June, we launched a new multilingual resource as part of our celebration of Refugee Week.
The easy to read, fold out brochure contains information about our services translated into 22 community languages, including new and emerging languages.
Our President, Helen McKenzie launched the new resource at our Refugee Week afternoon tea, hosted by journalist, TV presenter, and internet commentator Jan Fran. The event included a powerful and insightful panel discussion of the theme Finding Freedom by guest speakers Adama Kamara (Deputy CEO, Refugee Council of Australia) and Thang Ngo (Associate Director, Communications and Marketing, Multicultural NSW).
The afternoon tea was attended by more than 60 community stakeholders and public sector representatives.
We also announced at the event that we're developing more translated website and video content for new and emerging communities, to be launched next month.
These resources aim to help culturally and linguistically diverse communities better understand anti-discrimination laws and support services.
