Wear it Purple

Published 25 August 2023

Despite some of us working remotely, ADNSW staff came together on Friday 25 August to celebrate the 13th annual Wear it Purple Day, a visible show of support for LGBTIQ+ young people .

It is about creating safe spaces in schools, universities, workplaces and public spaces to show LGBTIQ+ young people that they are seen and supported and that they have the right to be proud of who they are. The 2023 theme Write Your Story celebrates the importance of personal expression and individuality for rainbow youth. Find out more at wearitpurple.org
