ADNSW celebrates International Women’s Day

Published 29 March 2023

On 8 March we celebrated International Women’s Day. This year’s theme of #EmbraceEquity, encouraged us to celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness about discrimination and take action to drive gender equality.

Some of our staff attended the 2023 NSW Women of the Year Awards. The awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution made by women across NSW. All the finalists were inspiring women worthy of an award, but congratulations to all the winners!

Our Executive Manager, Mia Zahra, also represented ADNSW in a Department of Communities and Justice internal staff video about women in leadership. We are grateful to Mia for sharing her experience with us.
