Jason* worked for a catering company.
The two owners of the business made inappropriate sexual comments to him, sent him text messages containing sexual innuendo and touched him inappropriately.
Jason felt uncomfortable with the banter, however he reluctantly participated because he wanted to keep his job.
Jason eventually resigned and lodged a complaint of sexual harassment with ADNSW.
During the time of conciliation, the employers apologised to Jason. They said they thought the banter was mutual and had not intended to upset him.
The employers agreed to pay Jason $10,000 in compensation and to undertake training in preventing sexual harassment in the workplace.
