Lou* is transgender.

Lou was reading a blog post published by an online newspaper about a TV show which featured two non-binary guests and noticed that some derogatory and inappropriate comments which vilified transgender people were published in response to this blog post.

Lou lodged a complaint of transgender vilification against the online newspaper with ADNSW.

The online newspaper denied that it was responsible for transgender vilification.

The complaint was resolved when the online newspaper removed the blog post from its website and published an apology where the blog post was originally posted.
