Anti-Discrimination NSW returns to YABUN 2020

Published 30 January 2020

Anti-Discrimination NSW was proud to take part in Yabun Festival this year, held annually on the 26 January on the traditional lands of the Gadigal people of Sydney in Victoria Park. The festival honours the survival of the world's oldest living culture.

Yabun, which means 'music to a beat' in Gadigal language, provides a great opportunity for AD NSW to meet with members of the community and to show support for one of the largest cultural events in Sydney.

Since 2001, our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Outreach team has held a stall at Yabun, providing information about AD NSW, its enquiries and complaint handling services as well as information about the New South Wales Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
