Anti-Discrimination NSW is working on a disability discrimination in goods and services project to better understand and address the barriers people with disability face when accessing goods and services in the retail sector.
Through consultations with over 100 participants – including people with disability, carers and disability sector professionals – the project identified key challenges and priority areas to improve accessibility and inclusion in retail settings.
ADNSW is committed to working with retailers to promote inclusion, develop staff training and advocate for accessible shopping.
