Gian Ellis-Gannell, a former intern at Anti-Discrimination NSW, was a finalist for Intern of the Year at the 2025 Disability Confidence Awards, hosted by the Australian Disability Network. The award celebrates interns who show outstanding dedication, initiative, and a positive impact during their Stepping Into internship.
Morlai Kamara from ADNSW shared, “Gian was a great addition to the team, exceeding expectations and demonstrating professionalism throughout her internship.”
Gian added, “I’m incredibly grateful to Anti-Discrimination NSW for all their support and encouragement. Being nominated was such an honour.”
The awards ceremony took place at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on Monday, 12 May.
