Latest ADNSW Annual Report now available

Anti-Discrimination NSW (ADNSW) has published its 2024-25 Annual Report, highlighting its ongoing work to promote fairness, inclusion and equality across NSW.

This year ADNSW began administering a new civil complaints scheme under the Conversion Practices Ban Act 2024 (NSW). This period was also marked by deep sadness following the passing of ADNSW’s Immediate Past President, Helen McKenzie.

This year, we:

  • answered 3,034 enquiries
  • received 1,945 complaints
  • granted 70 exemptions
  • provided advice, comments and submissions on a range of issues.

ADNSW also worked closely with Sydney-based artist and survivor of conversion practices, Jeremy William Smith, on the cover artwork titled, Psyche Map of Survival.
