Anti-Discrimination NSW attends Human Rights Awards

Published 18 December 2025

On Friday 12 December,                        Anti-Discrimination NSW staff joined acting President, Chris D’Aeth, and the Anti-Discrimination NSW Board of NSW at the 2025 Human Rights Awards.

Presented by the Australian Human Rights Commission, the Human Rights Awards honour everyday Australians and groups from all over the country who have made a real difference in supporting and advancing human rights.

This year, ADNSW was the proud sponsor of the Law Award, honouring the legacy of our late President, Helen McKenzie, a trailblazing lawyer and visionary leader.

We extend our congratulations to Elisabeth Armitage (NT), the winner of the Law Award, for her work as coroner and judge in making institutions accountable for upholding human rights and removing barriers so every citizen can enjoy full, safe and equal lives.
