Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW extends its deepest sympathies to victims of the horrific Bondi Beach attack

Published 15 December 2025

The Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW extends its deepest sympathies to the victims of the antisemitic attack at Bondi Beach on Sunday 14 December 2025.

The Board’s thoughts are with the victims, their families, the Australian Jewish community and everyone impacted by this terrible act of violence.

The attack was a senseless act of violence that has caused immeasurable pain and loss that is being felt across our whole community.

Many people will have strong feelings after this atrocious attack. We ask people to continue to support each other with care and generosity, not hate and retribution. At times like these, respect and kindness are more important than ever.

People who experience race discrimination, racial vilification or religious vilification in NSW are reminded that they can contact Anti-Discrimination NSW for free, confidential information and assistance. Vilification that threatens or incites violence is a criminal offence and should be referred to the NSW Police.

Information about community support is available at nsw.gov.au/bondibeachattack.
